At its heart, business is ultimately all about people. I’m lucky, I get to work with really smart folks every single day, learning what works (and what doesn’t) across thousands of growth-stage companies.
Seth joined Frontier back in 2008—an interesting time for anyone in business, and particularly those raising capital.
Seth didn’t take the traditional route into private equity. Prior to Frontier, he’d worked for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, connecting entrepreneurs with capital and advice, and before that a telecom start-up that pivoted through a number of incarnations before later going public in 2017, valued at just over $350m.
It’s experience that’s given Seth an entrepreneur’s perspective on connecting with businesses that we’ll be a good fit for. Simply, he knows the challenges they face.
Since joining Frontier, Seth has evaluated thousands of growth-stage software businesses. He’s seen their inner workings (both good and bad), and has been able to apply these learnings to other firms, helping them create growth for the business and returns for their founders and investors.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Seth outside—on the ski slopes when he can, thigh-deep in a stream fishing for trout, or out engaging in the natural world with his daughters.
