In early 2021, the Frontier Growth Foundation Board sat down to discuss how we could use our expertise in growth equity to make a greater difference in our core charity, Thompson Child and Family, a leading provider of clinical and prevention services for children and families across the Carolinas. The Frontier Growth Foundation pulled together a team from across the firm, assessed Thompsons current tech stack, considered what was and what wasn’t currently working, and determined what would have the greatest impact for the charity that would enable Thompson to better fulfill on its mission.

We were able to leverage our relationships and expertise in the software space to find the right partner to help Thompson to get more from the software they use. We then made the $25k grant to get the implementation underway.

By leveraging Frontier Growth’s core expertise, we’ve helped Thompson provide behavioral health services to more people who need them—a very worthy accomplishment that could change many people’s lives

Once live, this new capability will enable the charity to expand the reach of its services, accelerate the speed of care, and improve efficiency. This process is in progress with a go-live date targeted at early 2023.
