Michael has been with Frontier almost from the very beginning. Back then, he could have easily gone to a more established firm. But he’d already had a taste of a large corporation in his time at GE and saw in Frontier the chance to make a real difference—both to our business and the fortunes of our portfolio companies.

Today, as a Partner in the firm, he spends much of his time developing deep relationships with the companies we believe will most benefit from our help. He loves the challenge of working with growth-stage software businesses to unlock the strategy, focus, and support that can enable them to become true market leaders.

Growing up in Elmira, NY (we had to look it up too), Michael’s early ambition was to improve athletic performance on the field as an orthopedic doctor. While that didn’t work out (lucky for us), he brings a performance focus on continuous improvement and the need to create flexible, high-performance teams—both with our portfolio companies and our own people.

Outside the office, you’ll find Michael and his wife Christine ferrying their kids between robotics meet-ups, soccer matches, and rehearsals (when not indulging their love for pretty much every sport on the planet).
